This store features an all-crypto checkout for EVM chains Ethereum and PulseChain. It is easy to use, but if you have never done it, the best thing to do is install the Metamask browser wallet. Make sure you go to the official site (Metamask.io) and download the correct version for your device. Alternatively, click on "Connect Wallet" in the side panel here on this site and you will be presented with a WalletConnect link. Select Metamask, or explore other wallets. Many wallets are designed to let you use many chains, so check them out!

Once you have a wallet, and some ETH or PLS in there, you will be able to complete a transaction here and take advantage of the great pricing and free shipping! If you still prefer to use a debit or credit card, come by the EBAY store. And if you run into any issues in either case, definitely send a msg, we are here!

Once you have a wallet and are familiar with the basics (you have your secret words written somewhere safe, and you know what your public wallet address is) find your way to one of these options:

1. Purchase directly in your wallet with a debit/credit card. This is simple, but usually has a higher than normal fee.
2. Go to rampnow.io or ChangeNow.io, and purchase with your debit/credit. Still a fee, but usually a bit better.
3. Use ProveX.com or Peer.xyz to do a direct peer-to-peer swap. This is the best, most decentralized option and utilizes only code to facilitate a transaction with a low fee. You can use Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, etc to send money, and the smart contract will send you the crypto back once you do. It is all handled on the blockchain and through code, just between you and the other person. Once you get it, it's fast, very tech-y, and a lot of fun, so try it out!

Yes, crypto is very safe to use, and cryptography is very hard to crack. Just like anything, you have to be cautious about losing or exposing your wallet keys, so keep that in mind (don't upload a screenshot to the cloud!).

It is reasonably low-risk to connect to websites with a web3 wallet, just make sure the domain is secure (https), the site has a social presence, and you disconnect from inside your wallet manually when done. Most good wallets and blockchains scan for malicious code now, and have warnings before interactions, so that helps.

A good concept to know is the difference between a "hot" wallet and "cold wallet". If you plan on accumulating (saving) crypto, do it in a cold storage wallet that never touches an internet connection. If you plan to shop or game on the internet with mobile or browser wallets (hot), it is best to keep only normal spending amounts, in case something unexpected happens.

All domestic shipping is free, international is $20 flat rate. Please note — as a privacy-forward shop, we do not store any personal data past 30 days. We have a record of blockchain transactions, but will not store your personal info (shipping address, name) for longer than 30 days.

If you chose NOT to enter email at time of checkout, screenshot your receipt so you have it. You can choose to save receipts on your private profile, just create the profile in wallet dropdown. Other than that, receipts will automatically vanish after 30 days. Get in touch if you experience any problems!

All sales are final unless there is a major issue with the item upon arrival. If so, you must reach out immediately and explain the situation. If a return becomes necessary, we'll sort it on a case by case basis, we're pretty easy going.

If your checkout timed out, it usually means the transaction is still pending on the blockchain because the gas fee (gwei) was set too low for current network conditions.

Here's what to do:

1. Check your wallet — open MetaMask (or your wallet app) and look at your recent activity. If the transaction is "pending," the network hasn't confirmed it yet.
2. Speed it up — most wallets let you "Speed Up" a pending transaction by increasing the gas fee. In MetaMask, click the pending tx → "Speed Up" and accept the higher fee.
3. Check the block explorer — the timeout screen includes a link to your transaction on Etherscan or OtterScan. You can see if it's still pending, confirmed, or failed.
4. If it confirmed after timeout — your payment went through! Send us an email at hello@decentgear.io with your transaction hash and we'll process your order.
5. If it failed / you want to retry — if the transaction was dropped or you cancelled it, you can simply try checkout again. Make sure to set a reasonable gas fee (check current gwei at etherscan.io/gastracker).
